Aditi Dev Sharma: My career may have gone somewhere else or maybe nosedived  | Bollywood

0 41

Actor Aditi Dev Sharma feels that none can plan a future here because how much ever one tries they have to go through their share of highs and lows.

“It has been 15 years and I am surprised at how time flies! There I was a youngster trying my luck at a reality show (Cinestar Ki Khoj) and then destiny took me to big screen followed by television. Post big films including Black & White (2008) and YRF’s Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2010) my career may have gone somewhere else or maybe nosedived but thankfully I did sustain the ups and downs. I think so far so good,” says the Gangaa (2015) actor.

Of late Punjabi films have been keeping her occupied. “Since 2016, I started focusing on Punjabi cinema and then my son was born so I was all the more busy in life but work never stopped completely. As I have found a very supporting partner in Sarwar (Ahuja, actor), so it’s much easier for me. Also, we have chalked a way that just one of us will take up these longer running projects , the other will be home looking after our kddo. I think today couples are far more accommodating and understanding than what they were years back. You need a strong family support to continue thriving in your career.”

After her last show Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka (2019), she took a break from TV. “I was on look out for a show for past six months after completing two Punjabi films — Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua-2 and Chal Jindiye. Both will release next year. Also, I am shooting for television series Katha Ankahee that will go on air next month.”
