Pasadena’s newest specialty shop is making donuts nutritious, while keeping them delicious.
Hello You’re Welcome, a health-conscious donut shop founded by award-winning chef Leah Delyte Di Bernardo, will hold a grand opening Saturday, Sept. 16 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The grand opening celebration, at 445 East Colorado Blvd, will include giveaways, music, specialty coffee and treats, as well as a meet-and-greet. HYW founder and chef Leah Delyte Di Bernardo will be joined by Roast House Coffee founder and Good Food award winning chef Deborah Di Bernardo at the event.
According to Di Bernado, her mission in opening the store was to serve “good stuff” for the body and mind without sacrificing flavor for health.
“We’ve created a donut line for all eaters—vegan, gluten-free, keto, paleo—ticking all the boxes with a damn delicious and good, clean donut,” Di Bernardo said in the grand opening announcement. “All of this within an environment that cares about our work family and the health of our planet.”
The grand opening will kick off a week of events, including a ribbon cutting with the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Sept. 21, a community celebration the following day, and deals and giveaways throughout the week.
