By tallying eliminations, capturing objectives, and assisting their teammates, players will earn XP that will ultimately take them through the Prestige system.

Unfortunately, players must wait until MW3 Season 1 to Prestige. Since players can only reach a max level of 55 in MW3 at launch, hitting Prestige is not possible just yet.

Although Activision did not include any additional Prestige details in the MW3 Season 1 roadmap, they did confirm the upcoming system in another blog post. Activision stated, “Once Season 1 (and future seasons) become available, expect additional challenges unlocked at Prestige Level milestones that offer more difficult objectives and XP rewards.”

Activision promised, “Expect intel on the Prestige system closer to Season 1.” So, when does MW3 Season 1 begin?

MW3 Season 1 likely starts on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023. The update will presumably drop the same day as Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 ends. Along with the introduction of Prestige, the MW3 Season 1 Battle Pass is also finally coming in December.
