A police officer was pulled over by another cop for allegedly speeding and defiantly driving off saying he was ‘going to work’.

Body cam footage shows a sheriff’s deputy trailing an Orlando police officer with his emergency lights flashing at times.

The police officer makes some turns before finally pulling over before a traffic light.

‘You going to pull over? Pull over!’ the deputy is heard saying.

The police officer, identified as Alexander Shaouni by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, is seen getting out of his cop car.

‘What? I am going into work my man, why are you trying to pull me over as I’m going into work?’ says Shaouni.

The deputy replies: ‘Because you’re going 80 in a 45.’

‘I’m going to work,’ snaps back Shaouni who is in uniform. ‘What does it look like I’m dressed for?’

The unnamed deputy proceeds to ask Shaouni for his driver’s license.

‘No,’ Shaouni says, and gets back into his police vehicle and drives off.

The deputy reports on his radio that the officer took off from a traffic stop and reads his license plate, then the video ends.

Shaouni allegedly was driving more than double the speed limit on Florida Avenue, according to a sheriff’s office report obtained by WESH.

It did not end well for Shaouni. He was arrested and charged with resisting an officer, reckless driving, and fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer using sirens.

‘The Orlando Police Department was notified by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, June 9th that OPD Officer Alexander Shaouni was involved in an incident that occurred in Seminole County that resulted in criminal charges,’ the police department told the TV station.

‘Officer Shaouni has been relieved of duty pending the Seminole County Sheriff’s criminal investigation and OPD’s Internal Affairs investigation.’
