In one of his first interviews since beating Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury spoke to talkSPORT about how much he is looking forward to life in retirement, the sense he believes Simon Jordan speaks… and wanting to grow his hair back.

The WBC heavyweight champion of the world retained his title in stunning fashion at Wembley Stadium last weekend, with the fight broadcast live on talkSPORT.

In the aftermath, he reiterated his pre-fight retirement claim that he would walk away from the sport despite the scepticism of many in the boxing world.

And now, with the dust settled, Fury is sticking to his word. Here, talkSPORT rounds up what else he had to say.

Fury On Retirement

“I am retired,” Fury told talkSPORT when asked what he’ll do now. “So what I wanna do is chill out with my family and enjoy the rest of my life.

“Who knows what the future holds?

“But as of yet I’m just enjoying myself and I’m gonna grow my hair back I think!

“I’ve got school runs with the kids, I’ve got my bin trips to the tip, washing cars down, haircuts, shaves, hoovering, cleaning up.

“The normal day-to-day stuff at home with the kids, family and wife.

“Weekends, I look forward to my weekends, I train all week.

“That’s it really, just enjoy life one day at a time.”

Fury On The Dillian Whyte KO

“100 per cent it would knock any man out,” Fury said of his magnificent uppercut.

“I don’t like comparing to former greats of the boxing game.

“It would knock anybody out, but that’s not comparing me to anybody else in history, just people from my era.”

Fury On The Oleksandr Usyk Undisputed Fight

“I’ve already been the undisputed champion,” Fury claimed. “I’ve won every single belt there is to win.

“I’ve got nothing more to do, I am out, fully retired. Done.

“[Fighting Usyk] is never gonna happen because I’m retired, but let’s just say I’d punch him round the ring.

“Because he’s a middleweight, blown up.”
