Legendary spinner Shane Warne’s demise has shocked everyone, and many celebrities from the South also mourned his demise. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Mahesh Babu, Rakul Preet Singh, and many others paid homage to the cricketer on their social media. Samatha posted a picture on her Instagram Stories with the caption, ‘RIP Legend.’

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan also shared his feeling over Warne’s demise and posted a tweet that translates as “We have lost a cricket genius named Shane Warne who fascinated us with his magical spin bowling. We remember the moments he left us.”

Actor Sai Dharam Tej tweeted a picture of Warne and called it a black day in cricket, “Shocking and Heart-wrenching at the demise of Legendary spinner #ShaneWarne Black day for the World of Cricket. May his soul RIP!!! #RIPShaneWarne.”

Rakul Preet Singh also shared a picture of the cricketer and termed it as a great loss, “A devasting loss for the cricket world. Rest in Peace Legend.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran also got emotional over Shane’s demise and shared a picture of the player on his Stories and said, “RIP Legend.”

Australian spin legend Shane Warne passed away at the age of 52, confirmed his management team. According to a brief statement released by Warne’s management team, he passed away of a suspected heart attack. “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” read the statement. “The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course,” it stated further. 

In his hugely decorated playing career, Warne represented Australia in 145 Test matches, while he also played 194 ODIs. He had also captained the Australian team with much success after making his debut in Test cricket in January 1992 against India.
