Man (60s) dies following incident at cattle mart in Co Galway

A man in his late 60s has died following an incident at a cattle mart in Galway on Saturday.
The man was injured following the fatal incident while the mart in Loughrea was in progress at approximately 4.25pm.
He was taken by Ambulance to University Hospital Galway where he was later pronounced deceased.
A garda spokesperson confirmed the Health and Safety Authority and Coroner have been notified.
Investigations are ongoing.
