Queen Camilla and King Charles visited the Wittenbergplaztz Food Market, in Berlin, where a big crowd was waiting to greet them. The couple were seen shaking hands and seemed delighted to meet everyone during their visit to the famous food market.

For this occasion, Camilla opted for a discreet ensemble and wore a long brown coat with a belt.

She combined the elegant jacket with brown suede pumps and black gloves, and donned a lovely diamond clover leaf brooch.

Queen Camilla likes to wear brooches to elevate her outfits and has been seen sporting the precious jewel in the shape of a four-leaf clover on many occasions.

She is known to be a fan of the leaf and has many jewellery pieces featuring the motif including her Van Cleef & Arpels clover bracelets, which retail for over £4,000.

The Queen Consort is rarely seen without her bracelets which she owns in different designs and colours, including blue and white.

Last year, Camilla also wore a clover leaf brooch to visit Northern Ireland in September, which was a tribute to the country but also a symbol of good luck.

The four-leaf clover often symbolises luck and protection, but also faith, hope and love.

A royal fan commented on social media: “Lovely! Queen Camilla receiving a warm welcome from crowds in Germany!”

At night, she and King Charles attended a glamorous state banquet held at Schloss Bellevue Palace, in Berlin.

Camilla looked fabulous in a Bruce Oldfield black and white shimmery gown with delicate silver embroidery.

The monarch complemented her sophisticated outfit with the magnificent Greville Tiara, one of the “few pieces of the Queen Mother’s jewels” she now owns.

This is also the tiara “she has worn the most and is closest to her heart,” according to expert and marketing manager at jewellerybox Daena Borrowman.

At the food market in Berlin today, Camilla seemed to be wearing a leopard print skirt underneath her long coat and was seen carrying a very stylish brown leather handbag.

After their visit, King Charles and the Queen Consort headed to the Bundestag, the lower house of Parliament in Berlin, to sign the guest book.

They were accompanied by the Bundestag president Baerbel Bas. According to Buckingham Palace, the visit is an important European gesture, especially after Brexit.

A statement from the Palace ahead of the trip explained that this is also “a chance to look forwards and show the many ways our countries are working in partnership, whether that be to tackle climate change; respond to the conflict in Ukraine; seize trade and investment opportunities or share the best of our arts and culture”.
