One Brantford man has what one can only describe as a unique way of choosing his numbers.

“I have a jar filled with numbers and pull from those, which I use for my numbers,” David Frame shared while picking up his Lotto 6/49 winnings of $81,071.80 at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
The 55-year-old husband and father who has been playing the lottery for as long as he could legally play couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw that he had won from the Aug. 30 draw.
“My wife was in Vegas and the moon was blue and knew it was a special day,” he said.
“At first, I thought I won $67, and was happy about that,” Frame continued. “Then I realized, I forgot about the bonus number – and that’s when I realized I won big!”

He admitted that he was “shocked” and told his daughter and wife immediately.
“My wife was in shock from Vegas!,” he recalled.
Frame plans to complete some home renovations and get braces for his daughter with the winnings.
Frame purchased his ticket at Linden Convenience on Linden Ave. in Brantford.
