A 20-year-old man was arrested Sunday in connection with what an official called a “crime spree” of thefts and damage at Eastvale homes.
The investigation began May 5 with a burglary in the 5400 block of Homecoming Circle, said Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Art Mendez.
“In the following weeks, deputies learned the suspect was on a crime spree, victimizing citizens for their personal property and/or damaging their homes,” Mendez said. “Deputies collected evidence from the crime scenes and identified the suspect to be Dylan Lauder-Bussard, a 20-year-old resident from Eastvale.”
Lauder-Bussard was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on multiple counts of suspicion of felony burglary, grand theft and felony vandalism and providing false identification to a peace officer during his arrest.
He remained in custody on $35,000 bail, according to sheriff’s inmate records.
