In fact, there have also been reports of Indian natives facing racial slurs and abuses at the hands of foreigners. In one such shocking incident, a student of Indian origin was brutally thrashed by a group of African women in the Netherlands over an alleged racist comment. A video of the heartwrenching incident has whipped up a storm on the internet.

The video dropped on X (formerly Twitter) shows a heated argument between an Indian woman and another African woman. What started as a verbal exchange, soon escalated for the worse. Although the reason for the brawl remains unknown, reports suggest that the fight broke out because of a racist remark. The gut-wrenching video footage captures the African woman slapping the Indian woman across her face while presumably hurling abuse continuously.

Visibly agitated for reasons unknown, the African woman suddenly gets physical with the Indian woman and starts tugging at her bag. The African woman grabs the Indian student by her hair, punching and kicking her mercilessly. She pushes the Indian native to the ground and beats her up repeatedly. She is soon joined by others present on the spot and they also start hitting the Indian woman who despite her best efforts fails to prevent the constant blows.

The video further records the disturbing reaction of the other African natives who instead of trying to help the Indian woman choose to be apathetic to the brutal incident. Not one of them tried to intervene and stop the physical abuse. While some of the onlookers were seen recording the event on their cell phones, others cheered on the aggressors. Neither the Indian student nor the African woman has been identified as of yet.

The video has sparked massive outrage on X with users urging the authorities to take strict action against the offenders. “It’s heartbreaking. The Government should take strict action as it’s a really serious issue,” noted one user. “This is seriously not acceptable” pointed out another. “Shameful act.
