The 23-year-old man who died following a shootout that claimed the lives of two South Simcoe Police officers has been identified.
Chris Doncaster was pronounced dead on scene following the shooting that happened in Innisfil on Tuesday night near 25th Sideroad and 9th Line.

The Special Investigations Unit has not formally identified the gunman, but shared his age and that he lived at the home.
On Wednesday, family friends and an ex-girlfriend told CTV News Toronto confirmed the identity was Doncaster.
In one photo, Doncaster is seen posing while seated on what appears to be South Simcoe Police marine unit watercraft.
The officers have been identified as Const. Devon Northrup, 33, and Const. Morgan Russell, 54.
